HR Fabrication began as a family business built on hard work, honesty and a genuine passion for steel. Launched in 2009, after already serving nearly 35 years in the industry, company director Bob Gray took the gamble to forge his own path. Expanding on carefully built relationships, HR Fabrication established itself as a reliable subcontractor. In 2020 he handed the reins to his son, who had already spent 22 years working his way up from steel erector to project manager. That hands-on experience — across every stage of fabrication, installation and project delivery — shaped the business we are today.

From father-and-son foundations, we have grown into a trusted partner for main contractors, developers and engineers throughout the UK. We have access to state-of-the-art structural engineering modelling and detailing facilities, and our team still follows the same principle: continuous improvement, meticulous attention to detail, and getting it right first time.
